ViaWest Names Todd Meester New Regional VP and General Manager for Minnesota

ViaWest has appointed Todd Meester as its new Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Minnesota region. Minnesota is a new area of expansion for ViaWest, with the company having announced in May that it is building a 150,000 square foot Tier IV design-certified colocation data center in a Minneapolis suburb. That facility is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2014.

Meester will lead the development and growth of ViaWest’s market expansion in the Minnesota region. “Todd’s deep roots in the local technology community and his knowledge of the Minnesota region make him a great addition to our team,” stated Christopher Rajiah, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ViaWest.

Prior to ViaWest, Meester was General Manager and Regional Director of Enterprise Markets for Level 3 Communications in the Midwest, where he was responsible for growing the overall business segment and for supporting life-cycle management for medium to large enterprises. Previously, he held leadership roles with XO Communications and McLeodUSA, which included multiple years of experience in the Partner Channel.
