Zayo Group announces its inclusion in the 2012 Denver Business Journal’s (DBJ) list of the Fastest Growing Private Companies. This list recognizes the fastest-growing companies in the greater Denver area, and ranks them based on percent revenue growth from the previous two fiscal years, 2009 to 2011.
The DBJ splits the list into five flights based on total revenue. Zayo garnered the 4th spot among Denver’s largest privately held companies with 129% growth over the last two fiscal years from $125M in 2009 to $287M in 2011.
The DBJ also reports the largest Private Companies in the Denver Area, based on fiscal year 2011 revenue; according to the DBJ’s list, Zayo is the 12th largest private company, a two-position jump from the previous year’s 14th spot.
