Zayo Obtains Metro Ethernet Forum Certification

Zayo has obtained Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) MEF 9 and MEF 14 certification.  MEF certification is only awarded following high marks on sets of tests regarding service functionality and service performance. These tests were conducted on live services across the Zayo network to ensure MEF standards were universally met. MEF 9 certification validates end-to-end service delivery and functionality and MEF 14 certification validates service performance and traffic management.

The certifications are valid for Zayo’s entire 45,000+ route mile network.  Zayo recently announced its agreement to acquire AboveNet who is also MEF 9 and MEF 14 certified. Zayo’s MEF certification demonstrates its commitment to utilizing best practices and supplying customers with the best solutions.
