Zayo has been named to the 2012 Boulder County Business Report’s (BCBR) Mercury 100 list. This list recognizes the fastest-growing companies in the Boulder and Broomfield, Colorado counties, ranking them based on percent revenue growth from 2009 to 2011.
BCBR compiles two lists, one composed of the top 50 companies reporting annual revenue of less than $2 million and one of the top 50 companies reporting annual revenue more than $2 million. Zayo garnered the 6th spot on the list of companies reporting annual revenue of more than $2 million with 129% growth over the last two fiscal years – from $125M in 2009 to $287M in 2011.
Zayo CEO, Dan Caruso was in attendance at the annual awards event which honored the top companies. Through organic growth and acquisitions, Zayo is strategically growing its network. Zayo’s acquisition of AboveNet is anticipated to close mid-2012 and will more than double Zayo’s total revenue base.
