Zayo Expands to San Diego with New Network Build

Zayo announces it is expanding its fiber network into San Diego, CA. With this expansion, Zayo’s network will exceed 400 route miles throughout the San Diego metropolitan area. The new network will extend from the heart of downtown San Diego, north to Oceanside, and east to Escondido. Zayo will provide dark fiber and bandwidth infrastructure services on its San Diego network. The expansion in San Diego adds more capacity at a lower price point with the opportunity to upgrade when necessary.

In addition to the San Diego dark fiber network investment, Zayo has recently expanded its existing fiber network in downtown Los Angeles. These markets will also be interconnected to Zayo’s national fiber network following the anticipated completion of the previously announced acquisition of 360networks.
