Zayo is expanding its fiber footprint in Eastern Oregon by laying 35 miles of 96 count fiber for a newly implemented Fiber-to-the-Tower (FTT) project. The build will provide a fiber presence to encompassing Oregon cities including Hermiston and Umatilla County.
The expansion in Eastern Oregon is consistent with Zayo’s business strategy and highlights its continued success based investment in its network, as well as the desire to build fiber networks in rural underserved markets. Zayo’s tower footprint currently provides an on-net tower footprint of over 2,600 cell towers. In addition to addressing near term needs for specific customers, the network provides important Bandwidth Infrastructure to support future economic development.
