This fiber expansion will further bolster Zayo’s presence in the Central Business Districts of Denver and Colorado Springs as well as the Denver Technology Center. Zayo has also recently announced the [completion of its acquisition](http://www.zayo.com/news/zayo-group-completes-acquisition-abovenet) of national Bandwidth Infrastructure provider AboveNet, Inc. on July 2nd. Adding this network expansion to the existing Zayo and AboveNet assets, Zayo will have 900 route miles of fiber network in the greater Denver area.
