Zayo Completes 360networks Acquisition

Zayo announces it has completed its transaction to purchase 360networks. The resulting company is one of the largest Bandwidth Infrastructure companies in North America with an estimated annualized pro forma revenue of $393M and fiber network totaling more than 44,000 route miles and nearly two million fiber miles.

The completion of this acquisition will add 360networks’ 18,500 route miles of metro and intercity fiber to Zayo’s network, interconnecting 73 markets across the central and western United States. The acquisition also provides Zayo access to a number of new markets including Albuquerque, Bismarck, Des Moines, San Diego, San Francisco and Tucson.

Zayo anticipates a rapid and smooth integration as both companies’ focus on Bandwidth Infrastructure services. The combination of the two companies’ operations provides a strong platform to expand its market and service coverage.
