The launch follows the [April 2014](http://www.onephone.se/news) announcement of the joint venture between [OnePhone](http://www.onephone.se/news) and BT to develop innovative mobile services for the UK’s small to medium sized businesses (SMBs). The new service brings together all of a company’s fixed lines, mobile phones and internal office phone systems into one service that is hosted in the Cloud and delivered on a mobile. As the BT One Phone system is cloud-based, all of the feature-rich call management services of a phone system, typically available on a desk phone, are now available on their mobile, wherever they are. Combined with 4G and unlimited access to over 5 million BT Wi-fi hotspots, employees now have both the data and voice connectivity to let them be as productive outside the office as they are at their desk. The service also makes it easy for businesses to manage their communications, through the BT One Phone portal. Our cloud-based phone system offers all the same functionality of an office-based phone system but without the need to be tied to a desk – it’s all there on your mobile.” [![](https://blog.jsa.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/logo_81x38.gif?width=81&height=38&name=logo_81x38.gif)](http://business.bt.com/bt-one-phone/)Graham Sutherland, CEO, BT Business, added: “Last week’s announcement of BT One Phone is the first result of the relationship BT has built with OnePhone. This is a strategic initiative for BT Business and BT is delighted to be working with OnePhone as a partner.” [all-in-one mobile](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/all-in-one-mobile), [OnePhone operator](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/onephone-operator), [mobility](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/mobility), [mobile](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/mobile), [mobile market](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/mobile-market), [BT Global](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/bt-global), [BT One Phone](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/bt-one-phone), [BT One Phone Launch](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/bt-one-phone-launch), [business collaboration](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/business-collaboration), [business phones](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/business-phones), [BT](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/bt), [business phone system](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/business-phone-system), [Communications Management](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/communications-management), [Global Telecommunications](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/global-telecommunications), [Network](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/network-2), [OnePhone](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/onephone), [SMB market](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/smb-market), [SMB mobile](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/smb-mobile), [UK workplace mobility](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/uk-workplace-mobility), [Technology](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/technology), [telecom industry blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-industry-blog-2), [telecom news](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-2), [Telecom News Now](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-now), [Telecom](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom), [telecom news blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-blog), [Telecommunications](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecommunications), [UK mobile market](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/uk-mobile-market), [workplace mobility](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/workplace-mobility) #### Share This Article [mailto:?body=https://blog.jsa.net/blog/workplace-mobility-set-to-soar-as-bt-launches-bt-one-phone-in-the-uk/17032](mailto:?body=https://blog.jsa.net/blog/workplace-mobility-set-to-soar-as-bt-launches-bt-one-phone-in-the-uk/17032) TEX Dallas 2019 is taking place on March 13, 2019 at the Aloft Dallas Downtown.
