Two Things I Love Come Together: Art and Data Centers (ah..now all is right with the world)

YASSS, I've been waiting for this.  Data centers are here to stay and Google has some pretty darn big ones.  Luckily for all of us, the brilliant and creative minds at Google have commissioned artists to make those data centers just as pretty on the outside as they are awesome on the inside.

The Data Center Mural Project is beautifying buildings in Dublin, Ireland and Council Buffs, and soon coming to Iowa. The Google video, The Data Center Mural Project: Painting a Cloud, is worth checking out for anyone who appreciates data and art.  These data centers house such a rich, dynamic and interesting analytical snapshots of human life.  By covering these structures with art is a brilliant way to depict human life and our relationship with data right now.  Two worlds coming together; love Google.
