# TEX LA CEO Roundtables to Feature Distinguished Industry Speakers
The CEO Roundtables at [JSA's](http://jsa.net/) Telecom Exchange (TEX) events have been well-known in the industry for many years. Now, with the new event format that was introduced earlier this year, that involves determining the necessary next steps to ensure that our networks are smarter and safer with a resulting roadmap distributed to the industry, they are even more popular within our community.
[TEX LA](http://www.thetelecomexchange.com/la/) 2018, taking place November 6-7 at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Beverly Hills, CA., will feature four [CEO Roundtables](https://thetelecomexchange.com/la/ceo-roundtables/) on the following topics: blockchain technology and its impact on network infrastructure; IoT, smart cities and infrastructure predictions; pushing 5G to the edge; and partnering between cloud, content and infrastructure players.
