1102 Grand customer, TeliaSonera International Carrier (TSIC), announced today that it has upgraded its services at 1102 Grand to a 100G core transport network.
The upgrade allows TSIC to deliver 100G services across North America and acts as a three-way junction east to St. Louis and Chicago, west to Denver and San Francisco, and south to Dallas, Atlanta and Miami. The high capacity transport network upgrade comes as a response to a growing demand
and will support international network thoroughfare, as well as new local fiber initiatives in and through Kansas City. The 100G network utilizes Infinera’s DTN-X platform and is capable of delivering up to 24 Tbps of capacity into the facility.
