Customers of NYIIX, New York’s largest public peering exchange, are granted access to mainstream traffic, as well as niche, regional markets with powerful network-to-network connections at speeds up to 10 GigE. The exchange’s low latency allows for enhanced network performance and improved connectivity to major providers in a large network space. NYIIX offers optimal primary and secondary IP traffic routing options and is IPV4 and IPV6 capable.
The expansion to 165 Halsey adds an additional and important location option for NYIIX members, which further demonstrates Telehouse’s commitment to providing top-notch peering infrastructure to the Internet community. Telehouse plans for NYIIX to continue to evolve in an effort to unite the fragmented New York peering market.
