NYIIX customers can now access the exchange through its first global reseller, [IX Reach](http://www.ixreach.com)’s, geographically diverse PoPs. “Historically, United States-owned Internet exchanges have not offered a variety of fractional ports, until Telehouse opened NYIIX in 1996,” says Ruth Plater, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for IX Reach. “We are excited to provide our customers access to this level of flexibility across all of our markets.”![NYIIX-LOGO1](https://blog.jsa.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/NYIIX-LOGO1-300x70.jpg?width=300&height=70&name=NYIIX-LOGO1-300x70.jpg) “Now that NYIIX can be accessed from interconnection hotbeds other than New York, a significantly greater number of networks can gain value from neutral peering and cultivate ecosystems more effectively,” says Akio Sugeno, Vice President of Internet Engineering, Operations and Business Development at TELEHOUSE. “We look forward to leveraging the IX Reach platform to greatly expand our radius of coverage.” NYIIX is a leading, neutral Internet exchange point, which streamlines connectivity using state-of-the-art, scalable peerin infrastructure. Telehouse and IX Reach are attending [NANOG 65](https://www.nanog.org/meetings/nanog65/home) in Montreal, Quebec from October 5-7.
