TELEHOUSE America’s Vice President of Internet Engineering, Operations and Business Development, Akio Sugeno, is a key contributor in the Fordham University Press’ new book, Advances in Cyber Security: Technology, Operations and Experiences. The book, edited by D. Frank Hsu, Ph.D. and Dorothy Marinucci, brings together the world’s foremost cyber security experts to discuss the structure of the cyber space ecosystem, how it functions and how companies can protect themselves from attack.

Mr. Sugeno contributed a chapter of the book entitled, “Improve Availability of Networks Internet Exchange Points and Their Role in Cyber Space.” In this section, As the founder of the New York International Internet Exchange and the Los Angeles International Internet Exchange, Mr. Sugeno draws from his extensive experience to explain Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and their relation to cyber security with readers.
