Tech Valley Communications is on a Roll! TVC Earns its 9th Consecutive NYSPSC Excellent Service Commendation

Tech Valley Communications (TVC) has earned the New York State Public Service Commission’s (NYSPSC) Excellent Service Commendation for the 9th consecutive year for the exceptional level of service provided by TVC and its employees in 2012.

TVC has been the recipient of NYSPSC’s prestigious distinction every year since 2004 for its high quality service and ability to satisfactorily respond to and resolve service inquires. The NYSPSC 2012 Annual Service Quality Report states that TVC achieved a score of 100% on the Customer Trouble Report Rate (CTRR), and had a PSC Complaint

Rate of zero (0) for the ninth year in a row. The scores can be attributed to TVC’s network operations and customer service center in downtown Albany, New York. The technicians in the service center are on call 24x7x365 to ensure superior service and proactive support.

The NYSPSC began recognizing local exchange carriers for excellent service in 1988. The NYSPSC has established a set of service quality standards by which all providers’ performance is evaluated.  The criteria used to grant a commendation for excellent service includes an evaluation of customer trouble report rates, and are based on the low number of consumer complaints received by the Commission.
