Sidera Networks is increasing its local presence in Philadelphia. Sidera recently announced the completion of its expansion at its colocation facility at 401 North Broad Street. The expansion includes 28,000 square feet, enough to house 100 server racks, and has increased Sidera’s colocation space within 401 North Broad Street to nearly 40,000 square feet.
Along with the expansion, Sidera built a fiber loop from La Salle University’s campus to the carrier hotel after being selected by the University to provide high speed, scalable Internet solutions for its campus-wide network upgrade. La Salle University has experienced an increase in the speed and capacity of its network since the fiber loop was built. Additionally, La Salle’s network reliability has been boosted due to the two fiber paths connecting the University to 401 North Broad Street.
