The RCN Business Fiber-Rich Network Now Available in 165 Halsey Street

With yet another major network expansion, RCN Business adds 165 Halsey to its growing list of data centers and carrier hotels. Located in Newark, NJ, 165 Halsey Street owns and operates 1.2 million square feet of carrier-neutral SSAE-16 certified data center space giving carriers, enterprises and service providers access to cost-effective space, power and interconnection services.

The expansion into 165 Halsey exemplifies RCN Business’ strategic goal of building out its network throughout the Northeast and offering customers more high quality telecommunications options. Previously, RCN Business expanded its fiber-rich network into the Telehouse facility located at 85 10th Avenue and 325 Hudson in New York City.

Customers in 165 Halsey will now be able to directly access RCN Business’ full suite of communications services, including Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Hosted Voice, PRI/SIP Trunks and Video (HDTV), as well as Ethernet E-Line, E-LAN and dark fiber services to businesses of all sizes. RCN Business also launched a cloud-based managed security service earlier this year for its fiber-based customers.
