This over 400 mile route, together with PEG Bandwidth’s extensive fiber network allows for the connection of rural America with the network speeds of metropolitan markets. Segments on this route include a newly-built, heavy strand count fiber route from Monroe, LA across the ![OVERVIEW](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png) Mississippi River, to Jackson, MS. This new route creates diversity and redundancy in a region which has not experienced many green field fiber builds. Additionally, the deployment has allowed PEG Bandwidth to create a very low latency route direct from Dallas, TX to Jackson, MS. Ekinops is providing the primary DWDM network solution for this project. The Ekinops solution, with its patented T-Chip technology accompanied with its extended temperature range capability provides PEG Bandwidth the flexibility and performance to deliver a high-capacity service offering. With this new service, PEG Bandwidth is providing more speed and capacity, allowing businesses in these underserved areas to have cost-effective high speed services, normally only found in the larger surrounding cities.
