West Windsor Township leverages NYI’s MigrAssist service, designed to help businesses successfully migrate from an existing data center into an NYI facility. The service is based on a multi-phased data center migration planning approach, which can be customized for each client to ensure IT requirements and specific timelines are met. [![njdatacenter1](https://blog.jsa.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/njdatacenter1.jpg?width=240&height=159&name=njdatacenter1.jpg)](https://blog.jsa.net/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/njdatacenter1.jpg)With its move to NYI’s New Jersey facility, West Windsor Township upgraded its IT infrastructure, moving from a tape back up configuration to a virtualized infrastructure and de-duplication system that replicates the township’s data offsite. “NYI’s expert support proved quite valuable in our migration from an old, outdated IT architecture to one that leverages best-in-breed technology,” stated Christopher Wade, Network and Systems Engineer for West Windsor Township. “The whole migration process took just a half a day; everything was right on point. NYI had the correct IPs set aside, racks correctly labeled and our security access was set up quickly - truly phenomenal service all around.” “As a government entity, we have to be ever-mindful of costs. NYI’s highly cost effective solution was a pleasant surprise for us, considering its state-of-the-art facilities, quality services and exceptional customer service," continued Wade. “NYI looks forward to growing with West Windsor Township and to the completion of its phased infrastructure migration to NYI’s enterprise-class cloud, which will ensure maximum availability and performance," concluded Phillip Koblence, Chief Operating Officer of NYI. Located in New York, New Jersey, Seattle and Los Angeles, NYI’s data centers deliver 100% uptime, and 24x7x365 on-site technical support.  Learn more at [www.nyi.net.](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/new-jersey-municipality-customer-win-for-nyi/www.nyi.net) [customer win](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/customer-win), [disaster recovery](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/disaster-recovery), [enterprise](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/enterprise), [New York Data Center](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/new-york-data-center), [Bridgewater](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/bridgewater), [cloud](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/cloud), [cloud computing](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/cloud-computing), [Cold Aisle Containment](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/cold-aisle-containment), [colocation](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/colocation), [Data Center](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/data-center), [data center migration](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/data-center-migration), [data center news](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/data-center-news), [Government](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/government-2), [hybrid](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/hybrid), [hybrid cloud](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/hybrid-cloud), [Network](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/network-2), [New Jersey data center](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/new-jersey-data-center), [New Jersey municipality](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/new-jersey-municipality), [New York Internet](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/new-york-internet), [NJ data center](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/nj-data-center), [NYI](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/nyi), [telecom industry blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-industry-blog-2), [telecom news](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-2), [Telecom News Now](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-now), [Telecom](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom), [telecom news blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-blog), [Telecommunications](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecommunications), [West Windsor Township](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/west-windsor-township) #### Share This Article [mailto:?body=https://blog.jsa.net/blog/new-jersey-municipality-customer-win-for-nyi/19421](mailto:?body=https://blog.jsa.net/blog/new-jersey-municipality-customer-win-for-nyi/19421) TEX Dallas 2019 is taking place on March 13, 2019 at the Aloft Dallas Downtown.
