New 1547 Cheyenne Datacenter Grand Opening A Success!

An Event to Remember

On July 30, 2014 fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty (1547) and Greenhouse Data held a Grand Opening for their new Cheyenne, WY datacenter. Governor Matt Mead was one of many on hand for the festivities. Local community support made for a great event. 1547 looks forward to being an active part of the continued growth of the technology sector in Wyoming.

Bright Future Ahead

While the same might not be accurate for the weather on the day of the opening, the outlook for 1547's development couldn’t be brighter.  Wyoming's natural and economic advantages are real and sure to pay off for future tenants.  Governor Mead announced that the state would be one of the first Cheyenne datacenter customers, acquiring 56 racks for computing equipment and servers.  According to Green House Data marketing director Wendy Fox, “As more customers come online and additional support staff are needed, the new center could house up to 100 tenants with potential for even further development in the future.”

Throughout the afternoon, executive staff hosted private VIP tours of the facility highlighting our innovative technology, power and infrastructure.  Those that attended had a chance to see the new 35,000 square foot building that is already 25% occupied.  The 1547 team put tremendous effort into developing a cutting edge datacenter – and looks forward to helping future clients leverage its attributes!  What are those attributes you may ask? Check out this recent blog post from 1547 which highlights why Wyoming is the ideal location for a datacenter.
