(NASDAQ: MRVC) (“MRV®”), a [global provider of innovative packet and optical solutions](http://www.mrv.com/), announced today that T-Mobile Czech Republic is deploying MRV’s OptiDriver optical transport platform and Pro-Vision® service orchestration platform, to deliver 100G high-capacity bandwidth for interconnect services to the corporate headquarters, data center, and branch locations of one of the world's largest package delivery companies and leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services. MRV is empowering T-Mobile to build a more intelligent, fully redundant optical transport network for remote branch connectivity via a 100G transport service within the Prague city municipality. As a strategic partner to these customers, T-Mobile needed a best-in-class optical transport solution that provided the flexibility, density and power efficiency to deliver WDM and data center interconnect services. The MRV OptiDriver platform not only delivered on these criteria, but also provided carrier class features, such as full system and hardware redundancy. The flexibility of the MRV OptiDriver platform also gives T-Mobile the ability to expand and add a wide variety of services over time as they become necessary. “Based on our history with MRV’s optical transport solutions, we knew the OptiDriver platform could provide the flexibility and capabilities that we needed to meet the demands of our customer, plus deliver 100G redundant connectivity and interoperability with legacy systems in our network,” said Jiri Neumann, Ph.D., Planning, DWDM Network from T-Mobile Czech Republic. “MRV solutions are easy to use. Pro-Vision, MRV’s single-service provisioning and management system, helps us seamlessly manage the entire network.” The MRV OptiDriver optical transport platform offers the industry’s highest density 10G optical transport in addition to supporting intelligent ROADM networks and services at any rates, from low speed to high-speed 100G. Combined with the MRV Pro-Vision® service orchestration platform, T-Mobile has established a strong foundation to build the carrier-grade redundancy and intelligence that is required in the network to preclude service interruptions. “MRV develops best-in-class, carrier-class optical solutions that meet the needs of our service provider customers for intelligent, scalable and flexible services,” said Scott St. John, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Service for MRV Communications. “Our OptiDriver platform streamlines service deployments and helps better manage network operations for the most advanced networks. With MRV, T-Mobile Czech Republic can easily launch and manage 100G services while meeting the bandwidth demands of their enterprise and public administration customers.” [innovative packet and optical solutions](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/innovative-packet-and-optical-solutions), [IT](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/it), [jsa blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/jsa-blog), [MRV Communications](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/mrv-communications), [JSA Blog Submission](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/jsa-blog-submission), [JSA Clients](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/jsa-clients-2), [JS&A News](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/jsa-news), [logistics](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/logistics), [MRV](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/mrv), [100G](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/100g-3), [100G high-capacity bandwidth](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/100g-high-capacity-bandwidth), [Brand Marketing](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/brand-marketing), [Brand](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/brand), [Blogs](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/blogs), [Data Center](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/data-center), [Data Center Connectivity](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/data-center-connectivity-2), [Optical Networking](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/optical-networking), [Optical Transport](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/optical-transport-2), [OptiDriver optical transport platform](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/optidriver-optical-transport-platform), [Pro-Vision® service orchestration platform](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/pro-vision-service-orchestration-platform), [t-mobile](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/t-mobile), [Technology](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/technology), [telecom industry blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-industry-blog-2), [telecom news](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-2), [Telecom News Now](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-now), [Telecom](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom), [telecom news blog](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecom-news-blog), [Telecommunications](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/telecommunications), [transportation](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/tag/transportation) #### Share This Article [mailto:?body=https://blog.jsa.net/blog/mrv-empowers-t-mobile-czech-republic-to-launch-100g-bandwidth-for-one-of-the-worlds-largest-package-delivery-companies/20975](mailto:?body=https://blog.jsa.net/blog/mrv-empowers-t-mobile-czech-republic-to-launch-100g-bandwidth-for-one-of-the-worlds-largest-package-delivery-companies/20975) TEX Dallas 2019 is taking place on March 13, 2019 at the Aloft Dallas Downtown.
