Scheer is now responsible for product line management and for supporting the MRV leadership team’s strategic planning. “The pace of change in our markets is accelerating, creating exciting opportunities for MRV and making it a great time to add a leader of Adam's caliber to our team," said Bonney. "Adam has a track record of defining and executing successful business strategies and product roadmaps through both a keen understanding of market drivers and close collaboration with key stakeholders.  Adam’s skills will support MRV’s ongoing strategy to deliver best-in-class solutions that empower our customers to leverage intelligent packet and optical metro solutions to deploy and better manage Next-Generation application-driven networks revenue-generating services.” Prior to joining MRV, Scheer served as the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for the Optical Security and Performance Products group of Viavi Solutions (formerly JDSU).  During nearly 15 years of service with Viavi Solutions and its predecessor companies, Scheer served in senior marketing, strategy, and product management roles. In those roles, Scheer developed and led high-performing global product management teams with a strong record of achievement of driving profitable growth and award-winning technical innovation.  Prior to Viavi Solutions, Scheer served in senior corporate development, strategy and finance roles in the technology and chemical industries after starting his career in investment banking as a financial analyst.
