Lightower Named Authorized Vendor for Data Network Services in Rhode Island

Lightower Fiber Networks, the premier provider of custom, high-capacity network services that ensure optimal application and business performance, announced today that it has been named an authorized vendor to the State of Rhode Island Department of Administration for Telecommunications Services. The award enables Lightower to offer Ethernet, Wavelengths, SONET , Dark Fiber, Internet and Colocation solutions to Rhode Island state, local state and quasi-state agencies. Eligible entities to these services also include public schools, colleges, universities and all cities and towns. Lightower already provides coverage to over 150 service locations throughout Rhode Island.

Lightower services are available now to eligible entities in Rhode Island.  The MPA (Master Price Agreement) #308 award was made in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in Request for Proposal # 7548392.
