It’s official! Mr. Masaaki Nakanishi is the newly appointed CEO and President for KDDI America, a leading provider of international IT and telecommunication services, and its sister company, TELEHOUSE America, a provider of global dedicated data centers.
Mr. Nakanishi, VP and CEO of Global Business for KDDI Corporation, is uniquely positioned to take on his new appointment here in the US, and will oversee all of the KDDI America and TELEHOUSE America facilities and services. He will replace former CEO, Mr. Yasushi Kubota.
In his new role, Mr. Nakanishi will continue to establish KDDI Corporation’s global vision as a leading provider of Telecommunications and Data Center services. With over 42 data centers worldwide and a robust global fiber backbone that spans 170 countries, KDDI America and TELEHOUSE America are positioned as technology and network leaders with a focus on offering comprehensive solutions with greater flexibility and a worldwide reach.

Mr. Nakanishi’s broad experience in global telecommunications, his understanding of the global market and the contacts he has built up over many years while leading KDDI's global services will be a huge benefit to KDDI America’s customers and partners.
In addition to his active involvement in the business activities of KDDI Corporation, Mr. Nakanishi formerly served as Managing Director of KDDI Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation. Among many other roles, he has also been a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of DMX Technologies, another KDDI subsidiary and provider of digital media software and solutions throughout Asia and particularly in China.
