Jaymie Scotto Cutaia talks subsea cables with Mike Cunningham, CEO of Crosslake Fibre
The CEO of Crosslake Fibre, Mike Cunningham, recently met up with Jaymie Scotto Cutaia at PTC ’18, and shared the company’s latest developments. Focusing on unique subsea cable projects and next-gen networks, Crosslake Fibre, constructs high fiber count cable systems for the purposes of offering dark fiber to the marketplace.
WALL-LI: Late last year, the company announced a new 95 km subsea cable system extending from the 1025Connect facility in Long Island, New York to NJFX’s Tier 3 colocation facility in Wall, New Jersey. Offering a physically diverse route, the ‘Wall-LI’ cable, as its known, has a targeted ready-for-service date of June 2019. This new low latency route will offer faster communications for enterprises as well as financial companies.
