Barb Mitchell, JSA’s Vice President of Canadian Market & Business Strategy to Speak at CAPRE Event on “Women in Mission Critical: Awareness, Leadership, Mentoring” Panel

In exciting JSA Canada news, we are proud to announce that Barb Mitchell, JSA’s Vice President of Canadian Market & Business Strategy, will be speaking at the CAPRE Third Annual Canadian Data Centre Summit on May 22 at the Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre in Toronto. Mitchell will speak on the event’s panel titled, “Women in Mission Critical: Awareness, Leadership, Mentoring,” taking place on May 22 from 10:50 to 11:40 a.m. The panel is moderated by Cathy Logue, Managing Director for Stanton Chase in Toronto.

Mitchell joins other executives on the panel, including Ghada Badawy of McMaster University; Jaime Leverton, General Manager, VP of Canada and APAC for Cogeco Peer 1; and Strahan McCarten, Senior VP of eStruxture Data Centers.

“It is an exciting time for women in the tech and telecom industries, and this panel will touch on the growth of the data centre industry and the subsequent prominent roles for women in the areas of engineering and technology,” comments Mitchell. “I look forward to contributing my thoughts and insights regarding opportunities for increased diversity in senior leadership roles in the Canadian tech sector.
