Cheyenne Data Center Grand Opening The datacenter market in Wyoming continues to grow and proof of this growth can be found in Cheyenne. Industry veterans of [fifteenfortyseven](http://www.1547realty.com) Critical Systems Realty (1547) and Green House Data have done the analysis and are poised to unveil their new [energy efficient datacenter](http://1547realty.com/datacenters/cheyenne-wy/) facility in Cheyenne. Following an extensive planning process, a ground breaking ceremony took place in August 2013. In little more than a year later, the doors are now ready to officially be opened on July 30, 2014. The Grand Opening Celebration will begin at 1:00PM with Governor Matt Mead serving as guest speaker for the occasion. **The Road to Wyoming[![1547 Cheyenne](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png)](https://blog.jsa.net/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/1547-Cheyenne.jpg)** This project is one of the first steps in the execution of a partnership between 1547 and Green House Data to develop a planned, multi-building datacenter campus. The site is strategically placed 90 miles north of Denver and will offer wholesale, retail and cloud colocation services for high power density customers. The datacenter campus also features 100Gbps network capacity with redundancy across four network carriers and low latency to the major datacenter hubs in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas. **Why Wyoming?** - The location is situated optimally on a physical level, providing a secure environment and protection from natural disasters. - Local political leaders have made the growth of Wyoming’s technology sector a priority. - Energy efficient climate offers optimally cool and dry environment. - Expansive 20-acre campus site with plenty of room for growth. To complete the project, 1547 relied on in-house expertise for planning, facility architectural and engineering execution, and all phases in between. The completed Cheyenne datacenter will showcase 35,000 sq. ft. of datacenter space; 7,500 sq. ft. of office space with conference room, office space and a break room. **Join Us** Space is currently available for new tenants. Twenty-eight full time employees have been appointed to make sure every need is met, every expectation exceeded. The facility has been built from the ground up to meet all operational, network, and security requirements, not to mention foreseeable customer growth.  It is positioned to be the premier location for customers who demand innovation, efficiency and reliability. As the final stages of construction are finished, it is undoubtedly a very exciting time for fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty and Green House Data. All are welcome to join the celebration, applaud everyone’s hard work, view the new property and discover how your business can benefit from this unique, world-class development.
