Inteliquent Rebrands; Celebrates by Signing HD Voice Interconnect with Broadvox!

Inteliquent announced today that it is implementing its commercial HD Voice Interconnect solution for Broadvox. Inteliquent's HD Voice service is a High Definition wideband voice interconnection solution for the competitive carrier market. Inteliquent solves the problem of non-interconnected 'islands of HD' by providing easy access to other HD service providers interconnected with Inteliquent, and adds incremental value to carrier investments in IP networks and Voice over IP (VoIP) services. The service has been successfully interconnected with Broadvox, a leading VoIP, SIP Trunking and Unified Communications solutions provider.

Inteliquent’s HD Voice Interconnect enables service providers to efficiently route HD Voice calls between competitive carriers and hosted voice application providers. While Broadvox has HD voice capabilities today with some of its carrier partners, by using Inteliquent as an intermediary, the number of service providers that Broadvox can access is expanded. Subsequently, by completing the ability to negotiate HD voice interconnection through Inteliquent, Broadvox has dramatically increased the number of endpoints that can benefit from the high quality of HD voice. Traffic coming from Inteliquent can now be received by Broadvox and service all of their endpoints with the same quality of service on all traffic.
