The speed this is all occurring is faster than you can say gigabyte. According to a report by the [Joan Ganz Cooney Center](http://www.joanganzcooneycenter.org/) and the [Sesame Workshop](http://www.sesameworkshop.org/), two education non-profit organizations, nearly 80 percent of American children between the ages of 0 and 5 use the Internet on at least a weekly basis. Children ages 8 to 10 are exposed to an 8 hours of media a day (!), through television, video games and the Internet. This is where [Web Wise Kids](https://blog.jsa.net/blog/WebWiseKids.org) and [Jaymie Scotto and Associates](https://blog.jsa.net/../) (JS&A) come in. Web Wise Kids (WWK) is a national non-profit organization that has provided today’s e-generation valuable lessons for over 10 years by using unique computer games with fun, interactive simulations based on real-life criminal cases. Key educational tools and safety effort for kids and teens include: cyber bullying, sexting, predators and more. WWK programs have reached more than ten million children and thousands of parents nationwide in conjunction with school systems, law enforcement, and community-based youth organizations. Understanding the importance of this, JS&A works with the non-profit organization on a pro bono agreement, as the PR firm believes strongly in Web Wise Kids’ mission to provide more education on online safety for children, teachers and parents. JS&A provides Web Wise Kids with strategic marketing and public relations support, including writing and distributing press releases, media outreach, collaboration for creative fundraising and support with online platforms and video to help promote Web Wise Kids’ programs.
