Hibernia Networks Teams Up with Net Insight to Deliver High-Quality Live Video from Swedish Hockey League Arenas

Hibernia Networks is expanding its media contribution network to connect 14 hockey arenas in Sweden, allowing the transport of live video form all major Swedish Hockey League (SHL) venues beginning in September 2014. Hibernia has selected Net Insight’s Nimbra platform to supply high-quality and reliable broadcasts to SHL hockey fans as they cheer on the teams vying to win the Swedish Championships.

Hibernia will connect the 14 arenas over a Nimbra MSR network in order to provide low latency and zero data loss. The SHL will utilize Net Insight’s video transport solution, featuring visually lossless JPEG2000 compression, to deliver live video from each SHL arena.
