[Blog](https://www.jsa.net/blog/) # Hibernia Networks’ Project Express to Offer High Capacity, New Diversity and Low Latency Across the Atlantic [![Hubspot_project_express_image_3](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png)](https://blog.jsa.net/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Hubspot_project_express_image_3.jpg) [Hibernia Networks](http://www.hibernianetworks.com) and [TE SubCom](http://www.SubCom.com) today announce that they have commenced the manufacturing of the [Hibernia Express](http://www.hibernianetworks.com/project-express/) trans-Atlantic cable system, the newest and fastest fiber-optic path between New York and London. The 4,600km cable is targeted to be in service Summer 2015. The state-of-the-art system will connect New York and London, as well as connecting Halifax, Nova Scotia and Brean, UK with terrestrial fiber to extend connectivity to major metro areas.
