It’s common knowledge that the majority of customers who care to spend more than two seconds critiquing a product or service generally aren’t happy – most are boiling. Just look at the comment pages on most retail and service related websites. Even Apple has some zingers (I left one recently about a $70 mouse that that does everything but allow me to point and click!). I suppose it’s human nature. After all, my wife never congratulates me when my nose is clear, only shakes her head in disgust while overtly miming the “wipe your nose” sign – and usually in the company of many others. My mother doesn’t say a word when I’ve shed a few pounds, she is, however, quick to make any gain in weight a priority topic during Christmas dinner. My kids NEVER thank me for making dinner – only gripe about the dry mac and cheese while mumbling something about, “how Mom makes it…”
Like most things, outstanding customer service, support and provisioning is almost never recognized and certainly not by the actual customers. The opposite is most often true. Not today folks! Here’s your telecom cookie!

The awards are derived from data collected in the 2012 edition of ATLANTIC-ACM's Global Wholesale Carrier Report Card. This year marks the 12th year of this innovative, industry-wide research. This year's study is based on over 1,300 individual ratings of global telecommunications carriers by 300 of their wholesale customers. Ratings of over 80 global wholesale providers were compiled to offer wholesale providers an understanding of their market position on both an operational and product standpoint. The award for Best-in-Class Provisioning is based on survey respondents’ answers to the following question: ‘For each carrier with which you work, please rate provisioning based on your assessment of their ability to meet contracted date of installation.’
