GlobeNet’s Chief Operating Officer, Erick Contag was recently honored as a Global Telecoms Business Power100 2013 award recipient. This honor marks the third consecutive year that Mr. Contag has been named to the GTB Power 100, an award that recognizes the 100 most powerful people in the telecom industry worldwide.
The second award win of the season for GlobeNet came at the 2013 Golden Bridge Awards on September 30th. GlobeNet earned the prestigious Gold status in the Golden Bridge Awards for its Segment 5 Subsea Cable System. The high perfomance, high capacity Segment 5 Subsea Cable System links Bermuda and the United States, offering some of the most secure routes in the region and providing 30 times the current capacity between Bermuda and the United States.
