GlobeNet Hires Industry Vet Antonio Belli as its Director of Marketing and Sales

Boca Raton, FL – January 5, 2011 - GlobeNet, an international wholesale provider of submarine capacity, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Oi (Bovespa: TNLP3, TNLP4, TMAR3, TMAR5, TMAR6 and NYSE: TNE), announces the appointment of Antonio Belli as the Company’s Director of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Belli joins GlobeNet with over twenty years of executive-level telecommunications experience.

Mr. Belli has a proven track record of result-oriented global initiatives including business development, sales and marketing within the United States and Brazil. He most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Latin America and the Caribbean for Alcatel-Lucent Submarine Networks.
