GalaxyVisions is proud to announce that in an effort to save power, they are shutting down their air conditioning units and will be using outside air during the winter months, thus saving a significant amount of power on Brooklyn Con-Ed Grid. GalaxyVisions also plans to decrease the power in the data center from 75 to 64 degrees, allowing the servers to work more efficiently, reducing the draw on CPU power and lowering energy consumption.
GalaxyVisions’s commitment will benefit both environment and the community, since Con-Ed will be able to provide additional power to the residential areas of Brooklyn.
