FirstLight is the leading provider of high speed data, Internet, colocation and voice services to  enterprise and carrier customers in New York, New Hampshire, Vermont,  Massachusetts and Maine and provides up to 100 Gbps. connectivity at most of its 1,600 on-net locations with the ability to connect to 10,000 near-net locations.  FirstLight’s network is strategically  connected to key gateway cities, such as New York City, Boston and Montreal to  enable businesses located in Tier 2-4 markets to have the same level of access  they would if they were located in Tier 1 cities. ![Firstlight logo](https://static.hsstatic.net/BlogImporterAssetsUI/ex/missing-image.png)“New York City is key  to our interconnection strategy because it is among the world’s top  communications hubs,” commented [James Capuano](http://www.firstlight.net/about-us/management-team/), Chief of Network  Operations for FirstLight Fiber. “FirstLight’s growth has necessitated the need for a greater presence in New York City and locating our  PoP at 325 Hudson was a natural choice since it enables convenient access to  the major regional, national and international carriers that we work with.” [![325 logo](https://blog.jsa.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/325-logo.png?width=216&height=92&name=325-logo.png)](https://blog.jsa.net/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/325-logo.png)“The deployment of FirstLight at 325 Hudson allows FirstLight to offer new levels of performance in terms of speed to  market and an ability to raise awareness of the impressive fiber network they  own and operate,” added Hunter Newby, Joint Venture Partner at 325 Hudson. “It also gives FirstLight a true neutral alternative in New York City, and the ability to connect their partners  throughout Upstate New York and Northern New England.” For more information on 325 Hudson, visit [www.325hudson.com](http://www.325hudson.com/).
