[Blog](https://www.jsa.net/blog/) # eStruxture Expands in Western Canada [![eStruxture Logo](https://blog.jsa.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/estruxutreLogoPR-300x62.png?width=300&height=62&name=estruxutreLogoPR-300x62.png)](https://blog.jsa.net/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/estruxutreLogoPR.png)Last year, we heard from leading pan-Canadian data center company, eStruxture, about their plans to continue growing across Canada, with a near term focus on development in Western Canada.  Early in 2019, they have made true on this promise, expanding the VAN-1 Data Center and hiring seasoned sales professional, Andrew Fowler, to manage western sales.  VAN-1 serves as the only high-density colocation facility in downtown Vancouver, offering a range of connectivity options in this digital hub. These moves from eStruxture further highlight the company’s goal of investing and expanding across Canada, as well as its commitment to offering customers “more” - more locations, more capacity, and more connectivity solutions. “At eStruxture, we are dedicated to our customers’ success, and pride ourselves on the ability to scale space and power quickly based on current demands,” explains [Todd Coleman](https://www.estruxture.com/company/leadership/), President and CEO of eStruxture. “As a leading data center market in Canada, Vancouver serves as a powerful hub for enterprises to grow and house their mission-critical infrastructure. For the media  and entertainment industry in particular, we see huge opportunity and are proud to be the data center of choice for many post-production and visual effects studios across the city.” Located in the heart of "Hollywood North" in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, the VAN-1 facility is capable of supporting up to 30kW per cabinet, and offers significant capacity options for enterprise, media and entertainment customers.  The expansion includes a 1MW power upgrade, enhancements in physical security, and nearly doubles the available cabinet space.
