eLynx Technologies Expands Colocation Space in ViaWest Las Vegas Facility

ViaWest announced today that eLynx Technologies has expanded its IT infrastructure services within ViaWest’s data center located in downtown Las Vegas. eLynx is using the colocation space as part of its disaster recovery plan, implementing geographic diversity into its strategy.

Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, eLynx provides web-based monitoring, exception-based alarming and field automation services for the oil and gas industry. eLynx chose ViaWest’s secure Las Vegas data center due to the region’s low disaster risk. With the addition of its newest Lone Mountain facility, ViaWest will offer more than 100,000 square-feet of raised floor space across three premium data centers in the Las Vegas region, each with multiple network, cooling and power redundancies built in.
