The connection from Atlanta, Georgia to Dublin, Ireland over Hibernia’s diverse metro, long-haul subsea and terrestrial networks enables eBay 100% uptime to its extensive customer base. eBay is one of the world’s largest online marketplaces, serving 128 million users globally. As demand for consumer bandwidth in Ireland began to climb, eBay turned to Hibernia's EtherReach services for enhanced connectivity throughout the island. A [recent report by the UPC and Amárach Research](http://www.upc.ie/pdf/DigitalIndex.pdf) forecasts this demand to continue to grow in the coming years with Ireland’s 2.6 million Internet users expected to spend €5.7 billion online in 2016. [![Screen shot 2014-11-12 at 11.52.01 AM](https://blog.jsa.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Screen-shot-2014-11-12-at-11_52_01-AM.png?width=338&height=251&name=Screen-shot-2014-11-12-at-11_52_01-AM.png)](https://blog.jsa.net/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Screen-shot-2014-11-12-at-11_52_01-AM.png) Hibernia’s EtherReach Circuit utilizes Hibernia Networks’ 200+ points-of-presence that extend into 300,000 lit buildings in North America, Europe and Asia leveraging local carrier relationships.
