DukeNet Communications promoted from within and announced today that David Herran is its new Vice President of an expanded Network Architecture and Technology Planning team.
With DukeNet Communications and Duke Energy for more than 12 years, Herran now takes on the role of chief strategist and architect for all ongoing technology development, implementation and training. He’ll also lead identification, evaluation and development of new network platforms.
“David and his team are positioned to have an immediate and positive impact on the future of DukeNet, and we’re delighted to have them in place, actively driving DukeNet’s technology and infrastructure advancements,” stated Tony Cockerham, Chief Operating Officer of DukeNet.
