DukeNet Expands Fiber Network into Sentinel Data Centers' RTP/Durham Facility

Continuing to show North Carolina’s data center corridor growing and thriving, DukeNet Communications and Sentinel Data Centers announced today that DukeNet will build diverse network routes into Sentinel’s NC-1 data center to provide network solutions to Sentinel’s enterprise customers.

“Sentinel’s NC-1 facility will fill a void in this region for large, quality-sensitive enterprises seeking autonomous data center solutions,” says Mike Prendergast, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with DukeNet.

Sentinel began construction on its NC-1 facility in Durham in late 2012, and the first phase of the facility will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2013. DukeNet is building a diverse route into the facility to help Sentinel provide business continuity services to its customer base.
