The network enhancement provides 100G-capable coherent Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, enabling deployment of 40G and 100G solutions for its carrier and enterprise customers without the need to replace existing fiber infrastructure. Bandwidth consumption continues to rise; data centers, content delivery networks and large and small enterprises alike are demanding high-capacity, reliable bandwidth services.
