DCProfessional Development Offering Two Courses in Chicago

DCProfessional Development (DCPro), the esteemed performance division of DatacenterDynamics that provides training courses and certification, has recently announced dates for its upcoming data center development courses in Chicago.

The first three-day class, Energy & Cost Manager, will take place Nov. 4 to 6, and the second, Critical Operations Professional, will run from Nov. 18 to 20.

These courses will cover the successful operation of data center facilities and the effective use of energy by software, ICT systems and support infrastructure (electrical and mechanical systems) within the data center. They will also provide solutions to help reduce system downtime, increase productivity and be energy-efficient.

“System downtime, whether planned or unplanned, can be a very costly event to most organizations,” says George Rockett, Managing Director of DCProfessional Development. “Most industry studies largely indicate ‘human error’ as the biggest cause of system downtime in a critical facility environment. These Chicago courses will explore what the impact of such an event has on an organization, and what must be set in place to minimize risk.”

DCProfessional Development is currently accepting registrations for both courses. For more information about these courses, or about DCProfessional, email Agnes Mkpeti.
