DatacenterDynamics announces it will host its Converged Conference on March 12 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Time Square. The conference will welcome over 1,500 of the men and women responsible for the tri-state area’s mission critical infrastructure gathering for the first time since Hurricane Sandy made landfall last October. Marking its 10th annual meeting in New York, the conference will analyze lessons learned and how to maintain uptime amid power outages, fuel shortages and personnel shortages.
As the first post-Sandy conference of CIOs, CTOs, COOs, and the engineers, facilities management and IT professionals tasked with maintaining system uptime, DatacenterDynamics will include an opening keynote address delivered by retired United States Colonel and Medal of Honor recipient Jack Jacobs.
Following his keynote presentation, Colonel Jacobs will join a panel of industry leaders to discuss crisis planning, communication and the necessary preparation of staff and resources. The panel will feature Peter Curtis, President and CEO of PMC, Ron Shindel, Managing Director & Chief Security Officer of L&L Holdings and Rich Rotanz, Executive Director of the Applied Science Foundation for Homeland Security.
