DataBank recently completed its first-ever substation, engineered to support two of its high performance data centers, SLC2 and SLC3. The new 66-megawatt privately owned substation will address existing client requirements, as well as growth for future data center facilities on the 24-acre Granite Point Campus in Bluffdale, UT.
“Our new Granite Point substation sets the foundation for continued growth of our Salt Lake campus,” states Kevin Ooley, President and CFO of DataBank. “The N+1 design provides significant additional capacity and redundancy to support our customers’ expansion.”
