DataBank Announces Construction of its 15th Data Center

In the heart of the heartland, DataBank, is constructing a new Tier 3 colocation facility, KC3. Known for its steak, BBQ and jazz, Kansas City is also a growing market for technology, business and entrepreneurs.

Kansas isn’t new for DataBank, the company has two other data centers in the area. The purchase of the new data center location, which is adjacent to existing DataBank facility KC1, includes an additional four acres of land allowing for future expansion. KC3’s initial build will deliver 25,000 square feet of raised white floor and 3MW of capacity. KC3 will be expandable to 50,000 square feet with a total design capacity of 6MW. KC3 will offer DataBank’s full portfolio of solutions, including colocation, cloud, and managed services, and will host the latest generation DataBank cloud and security platform.
