Cleareon’s Dark Fiber is Now Available to Digital Realty Customers Within its 111 8th Avenue Facility

Today at International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2016, Cleareon Fiber Networks announces it has established a Point of Presence (PoP) at Digital Realty’s 111 8^th Avenue premier facility. Home to numerous wired and wireless carriers, clouds, media companies, financial networks and content providers, the 111 8^th Avenue data center serves as an essential connectivity hub in New York City and now, with this newly established PoP, Digital Realty customers can conveniently access Cleareon’s robust dark fiber network.

Cleareon is a metro dark fiber provider that is pioneering a new, transparent and straightforward way of doing business.  Its dense fiber network connects New York’s preeminent data centers and carrier hotels, where customers can access hundreds of service providers. Establishing a PoP at 111 8^th Avenue is the first of many plans Cleareon has to further build upon its network, not only throughout Manhattan, but also across the Hudson and East Rivers into New Jersey, Brooklyn and Queens.
