Leading Lights is the annual awards program, now in its 13th year, hosted by [Light Reading](http://www.lightreading.com/), the market-leading online community for the global communications sector. This year's Leading Lights Awards included major industry names such as AT&T, Amdocs, Cisco Systems, Equinix, Nokia and Qualcomm.  The 2017 Leading Lights program recognizes top companies and executives for their outstanding achievements in next-generation communications technology, applications, services, strategies and innovations. "The quality and number of submissions we received this year across all of our categories, was testament to the innovation that underpins developments in the global communications industry and once again showed how seriously the industry takes this awards program," said Ray Le Maistre, Light Reading International Group Editor. Among several factors considered in the selection process for this award, judges were looking for the next-generation OSS/BSS/analytics/digital commerce systems vendor that best stood out from its competitors via constant innovation. They were also interested in selecting a vendor that helped to set industry trends while providing a return for investors. “It’s an honor to be recognized by an industry giant like Light Reading,” states Chris Purdy, CTO. “This award is a testament to our mission of bringing simplicity to the network, as well as the hard work that the CENX team invested into the development of the CENX product.
