Optical networking specialist Optelian exhibits next week at COMPTEL PLUS Spring 2013 Convention & EXPO on March 10-13, 2013, at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company will be on hand at Booth #206 to discuss its latest 100G product announcement and several new global initiatives.
Optelian launched a 100G network solution in February, delivering revenue-generating services and lower operational costs to global telecom service providers. The Optelian MPX-9110 platform delivers the means to evolve existing 10-Gb/s networks to address critical bandwidth requirements while improving performance.
New executives have recently joined the Optelian team. Brian Pratt joined the company as the Vice President of Product Marketing. Glenn Byess came on to head up the Optelian Services, Inc. division, while Dennis Isotti joined the team as Vice President of Operations.
Driving business across the globe, Optelian recently added new customer Myanmar Post and Telegraph (MPT). MPT is utilizing Optelian’s LightGAIN Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system to deploy a cellular backhaul and backbone network as part of a larger installation of state-of-the-art wireless infrastructure throughout its country.
